In memory of two special girls

Katerina and Margarita needed a family, and they would have been home already if Ukraine had not changed their adoption laws concerning single women adopting. I know it is up to Ukraine to set their adoption laws, but I am so sad right now, and heartbroken for L; they were her daughters in her heart.

Both girls were 7 and both lived in one the many institutions in Ukraine. In terrible sadness I report that they both passed away after a flu epidemic.
