Roma has been transferred to the institution

http://hopefulheartsfoundation.org/videos/BETTERDAYS400K.html
This video shows the baby house where we found Kara, we saw the very kind doctor from #5. We also caught a glimpse of Roma as a very little baby. It was his sweet face, at least we think so, hope so. I did a print screen, but please watch the video.

***************************************************

All, we learned today that our Roman has been transferred to the mental institution, along with 5yr old Ruslan.

One of our families met Roman while they were adopting their little girl, and has offered a desperate plea to anyone open to adopting a 4 yr old boy with Down syndrome. You have all witnessed the miraculous transformation of Logan and Cody Fessler (http://www.fesslerboys.blogspot.com/), who were recently rescued from different institutional facilities.. ..Roman is already self sufficient and a handsome, happy, social, loving little boy. All that he has achieved in the baby house will be lost the longer he must stay in the institution.

Roman's generous $10k grant lowers the cost to adopt him to only $12,000, including home study, INS, travel, in-country accommodations, etc. His life is worth more than that!!

Even if you are not in a positon to adopt at this time, please do two things for Roman: PRAY for him as he goes through a horrendous transition to life in a mental institution, and SHARE THIS MESSAGE with everyone you know so we can find a family for him quickly. Interested families must meet the requirements listed below, and be in a financial position to pay for their home study, INS, and dossier upfront (grant is disbursed after dossier is submitted and a travel date is given). Every day that goes by is a loss for Roman :((

Roman
Boy, 4 1/2 years old
I have $10,000! in my grant fund towards the cost of my adoption!
ALREADY TRANSFERRED, PLEASE ADOPT ME SOON!!
This little boy is so handsome! We learned of him through one of our families who traveled to this orphanage in December 2007. Regrettably, he has been transferred already, so we need to get him out FAST! Roman has blonde hair and blue eyes, and a smile that can light up a room. He is healthy and quite self-sufficient. He is potty trained, can feed and dress himself, and so longs for a family to call his own!
From the family who met him and so hopes a family will step forward for him:
"When we were in-country adopting our new daughter with Down syndrome, we were told Roman would be sent to the mental institution in the Spring. I dreaded Spring this year because each day I checked, Roman was still waiting. Roman, age 4 and happy, walking, toilet trained, talking up a storm, so smart, so funny.
What a blessing to learn he had received a $10,000 grant towards the cost of his adoption! But even with a $10,000 grant, he was there day after day, with his chubby cheeked smile, those blue eyes sparkling with boyish mischief. I felt that cheek next to mine as he hugged me goodbye, those arms as the caregivers pulled him away from me, sadness in their eyes too, because they hoped we could be his parents. I promised him in my heart that I would do what I could to find him a forever family. So far I have not kept that promise, but I am not ready to give up.
I heard the news I was hoping never to hear today about sweet little Roman... he has been transferred to a mental institution. Like orphanages, the institutions vary greatly in staffing and funding. I do not know anything about where he was sent except it was not one of the worse ones; thank the Heavenly Father for that. We prayed that God would help Roman’s family find him; he is such a sweet little boy with such longing in his heart for a Mama and Papa. Perhaps He is still preparing that family, opening their hearts to international adoption. We will continue to pray he finds that family he needs so badly, he wants with all his heart. He needs his family as soon as possible, please consider him."
Married couples only may apply
No more than 45 years between parent and child
No stated family size restrictions
Total with travel approx $22k ($12k with the grant)
Both parents for 2 1/2 weeks to attend court
Both parents return home for 3 weeks, and only one must return to complete the adoption for approx 4-5 days

If anyone is interested in learning more about Roman, or seeing a photo, please write me OFF LIST at http://us.f523.mail.yahoo.com/ym/Compose?To=bamaroberts@comcast.net Thank you for your prayers and for sharing Roman's need for a family with others
